Berlin invites you: Whether sustainability, circular economy, innovation and digitalization all of it influences hybrid fashion shows, events and conferences in the whole town.

Berlin, the hotspot of the fashion and creative scene, invites: Sustainability, circular economy, innovation and digitization are the central themes of the shows, exhibitions and initiatives in the coming week, which are extensively supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. Berlin Fashion Week has the most comprehensive program in its history, new talents and the stars of the German design scene.

  • Hybrid fashion shows, events and conferences across the city

  • All dates and formats of Berlin Fashion Week at a glance

There has never been more Berlin Fashion Week: With 13 larger events and numerous panel talks on the topics of innovation, cross-culture, young talent and sustainability and more than 100 presentations by national and international fashion labels, the fashion week awaits from September 6th to 15th with the most comprehensive program in its history. The anticipation is huge: the majority of the events, runway shows and exhibitions take place live or hybrid, where designers, creative professionals and prominent guests finally meet again.
These include Aeyde, Allude, Antonia Zander, Danny Reinke, Dawid Tomaszewski, Esther Perbandt, Galvan, GmbH, Kaviar Gauche, Kilian Kerner, Lala Berlin, LML Studio, Marc Cain, Marcel Ostertag, Marina Hoermanseder, Mykita, Odeeh, Rianna + Nina, Sminfinity , William Fan and Working Title, to name just a few prominent designers. They all show their latest creations as part of Berlin Fashion Week.

A special highlight for all fashion enthusiasts is the premiere of the STUDIO2RETAIL initiative: With events, workshops and projects in stores and studios, Berlin Fashion Week welcomes retailers for the first time and includes the entire city area into fashion week. The innovations, concepts and collections around sustainability and circular economy presented here are aimed at both trade visitors and all interested visitors and invite you to shop consciously. In addition to other events, the STUDIO2RETAIL Opening Event offers invited guests the opportunity to network with many creative people on the first evening of Berlin Fashion Week.

All Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week shows, the Fashion Open Studio and many specialist discussions are also accessible via live stream or video presentations.
The Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises has invested 3.5 million Euros in realigning the fashion week in 2021. With the multi-faceted program, it creates visibility for the enormous diversity and innovative strength of the industry, associates designers, trade visitors and interested parties and promotes local consumption.

“Berlin Fashion Week will be all about sustainability, innovation, diversity and cross culture as well as the support of creative talents. The big highlight is the variety of formats. I am particularly pleased that a large number of established and new events are taking place again as physical events and that we can also welcome national and international guests to the city. Our extensive program offers a first-class setting that also attracts international attention. We are thus creating the best conditions to enable other labels to present their collections in Berlin to a national and international audience in the future." Senator Ramona Pop
