In 2008 Dennis Chuene founded his eponymous label. The native South African has been running this from Berlin for two and a half years. With a special focus on sustainability, the designer works almost exclusively with recycled and upcycled materials. All of his looks are created by hand in his Berlin studio. With streetwear character and innovative details, Dennis Chuene's fashion has an even higher meaning: it is his socio-political commentary on world events. He wants to show grievances, which he weaves into highly detailed, sophisticated and wearable works of art.
