About the Collection

Maximilian Gedra’s Fall/Winter 2025/26 presentation “THE OFFICE” is a haute couture collection that reimagines office wear, positioning women and all genders at the helm of leadership. It brings together the razor-sharp precision of traditional tailoring with avant-garde innovation, revealing striking silhouettes, daring cuts, and an unexpected mix of materials. Channeling the electrifying energy of the modern workplace, the collection explores the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. At its core, "THE OFFICE" celebrates strength, individuality, and unbridled authority, while representing the pain of unequal rights in the work field. The collection features a diverse array of materials such as wool, cotton, leather, faux fur, and innovative textures created through experimental embroidery techniques, using buttons, safety pins, and ties. The brand uses bold silhouettes like exaggerated shoulders and hips, seen for example in the shoulder pads extending above the head to symbolize the pressures of corporate culture. Emphasizing sustainability, repurposed second-hand materials were used, repainting and transforming them into upcycled showpieces. Amongst the stand-out pieces are two dresses, one with over 10.000 hand-sewn upcycled buttons, the other intricately crafted from thousands of safety pins.
