ABOUT THE BRAND
BUZIGAHILL is the first Ugandan brand to merge contemporary fashion, art, and politics on a global stage. In a defiant act called RETURN TO SENDER, Kampala-based BUZIGAHILL transforms and redesigns second-hand clothing into thoughtful, critical fashion, challenging the politics of consumption by returning these garments to their origins in the Global North.

Why did you start your label/business?
BUZIGAHILL is a direct response to the negative impacts of second-hand clothing on Uganda's textile industry. RETURN TO SENDER represents BUZIGAHILL's ability to participate in the global contexts of art, fashion and politics by creating critical and desirable products and reversing the MOVEMENT of waste. It is a collective refusal to remain stuck at the end of the second-hand supply chain.
