ioannes is a Berlin-based luxury womenswear label founded in 2019. The practice is rooted in the belief that a garment is not decoration but language. Created by Johannes Boehl Cronau, whose formation runs from Paris to London and through the atelier of Haider Ackermann, ioannes debuted at Palais de Tokyo with Net-A-Porter as its first exclusive partner. Seven years later, the label enters a new chapter: ioannes as Living House. A framework for collector pieces, limited garderobe drops, and intimate cultural experiences that exist outside the seasonal calendar. All production remains in Europe. Each piece begins from the same question: does this need to exist? The answer, when yes, is something made with full commitment to material, construction, and cultural honesty. Sensuality tempered by control. Pleasure with depth. ioannes does not pursue visibility. It makes work that holds meaning long after the moment has passed.
