ABOUT THE BRAND

GmbH, the name being the German legal term of a limited company, or ‘Ltd.’, was founded in Berlin by Serhat Isik and Benjamin A. Huseby in 2016, as a project to use the medium of fashion to respond to current events in the world. GmbH draws inspiration from their personal experiences as children of immigrants in Europe. At the core of GmbH is storytelling using the craft of garment making. From migration, ecology, couture and club culture, we engage with global topics authentically.

GmbH are listed in the BOF500 and have been finalists in the LVMH Prize, Andam Award and the Internationl Woolmark Prize and are currently finalists in the Vogue Fashion Fund. GmbH have been an environmentally and socially responsible label since the start.
