LUEDER

ABOUT THE BRAND

LUEDER represents a hybrid linked to sportswear complemented by maniacal attention to sartorial detail mixed with medieval silhouettes. LUEDER researches medieval armour based on the desire for shielding, freedom of expression, and bringing out their individuality. LUEDER adds a sustainable attitude to the brand, as it produces using organic denim, recycled jersey, and regennylon. She has been shortlisted for the Vogue fashion fund in September 2024 and showed at BFW for the past 3 seasons.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

This collection was inspired by a collision of references: the paintings and raw sensuality of Tobias Spichtig, the film Powder, medieval leather gloves slashed open to reveal jewellery beneath, and the late Mark Fisher’s writing — especially Ghosts of My Life. Together, these influences form a world where vulnerability, aggression, nostalgia, and desire coexist.

Personally, this collection represents a more sensual, more provocative version of LUEDER — sexier, more exposed, but still grounded in strength and precision. At its core, it explores engineered yet individualistic fashion: pieces designed to move through every life situation. There’s a strong play between light and shadow, confidence and fragility, and a conscious reworking of nostalgia — not as something comforting, but as something to be challenged and transformed.

Material played a key role this season. For the first time, we worked with pinstriped suiting — a direct reference to my background in bespoke tailoring. However, instead of traditional canvas construction and formal techniques, the fabric is used casually, almost against its own expectations. The pinstripe becomes a symbol of formality rather than a strict tailoring rule. Alongside this, we were sponsored by an Italian mill that provided a futuristic, lightweight flocked nylon in camouflage, which we used for a single look — adding a sharp, forward-looking contrast to the collection.
