Marlon Ferry

ABOUT THE LABEL

Marlon Ferry is a multidisciplinary fashion designer whose work is defined by an experimental approach to materials, techniques, and silhouettes. With a deep curiosity for innovation, he blends unconventional materials—ranging from 3D-printed sculptures to artisanal textiles—into progressive designs that push the boundaries of traditional couture. His techniques merge cutting-edge technologies, such as virtual fashion and artificial intelligence, with the precision and artistry of handcrafted detailing, resulting in garments that embody a unique dialogue between the futuristic and the timeless. Ferry’s design philosophy is rooted in the exploration of technology, material, and form. His silhouettes often challenge convention, combining sculptural shapes with fluidity to create pieces with an otherworldly interplay of silhouette and texture. Inspired by the limitless potential of virtual realms and the organic beauty of nature, his creations strive to harmonize the artificial and the natural with a daring progressive vision. After refining his skills during an internship at Iris van Herpen’s renowned atelier, Ferry pursued a master’s degree in fashion design, where he further developed his innovative approach. His first runway appearance during his studies at Neo.Fashion showcased his commitment to craftsmanship and experimentation, leading to the establishment of his Berlin-based Atelier. Each piece created there reflects his meticulous attention to detail and passion for blending traditional techniques with modern technologies.

After the debut show of his Atelier at Berlin Fashion Week in July 2024, Ferry continued to refine his distinctive aesthetic, delving deeper into his avant-garde approach on couture. With the upcoming edition of Berlin Fashion Week, he will present his Spring 2025 Couture Show. This collection promises a even deeper exploration of techniques and storytelling, reaffirming his commitment to evolving the language of couture through innovation and craftsmanship.
