ABOUT THE BRAND

UNVAIN is a Berlin-based fashion label founded in 2020 by Robert Friedrichs. Rooted in the raw energy of Berlin’s subcultures, the brand distills a brutalist, minimal aesthetic— raw, puristic, elegant. What started as a one-man studio has grown into one of Germany’s fastest- emerging fashion labels, now on the verge of its debut runway show. Defined by architectural silhouettes, sharp tailoring, and industrial detailing, UNVAIN has built momentum through a strong digital presence and a dedicated community that fuels its cultural relevance. UNVAIN stands for a new kind of uniform: refined design stripped to its essence, infused with the spirit of the city.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION 

UNVAIN presents its first runway show with a self-titled Autumn/Winter 2026 collection. The name not vain reflects an interest in beauty beyond polish, valuing tension over perfection. Its design language is built on contrast: roughness and softness, severity and sensitivity, the familiar and the strange. The clothes exist in the in-between space where rawness meets refinement. For this collection, UNVAIN deliberately avoids external themes, focusing entirely on its own essence. The show aims to present the brand as clearly and honestly as possible, without narrative overlays. It distills the core of what UNVAIN stands for: Rockstar Chic. Mystic. Brutalist.. The experience is accompanied by an immersive scent installation developed with RYOKO, adding an olfactory layer to the show's atmosphere.
