FASHION POSITIONS: The Slot Winners have been decided
For many years now, the Senate Department for Economy, Energy and Companies/Project Future has been supporting young fashion designers to present their collections. This year, Berlin-based fashion designers have the opportunity to present their collections at the exhibition FASHION POSITIONS, which is integrated for the first time into the art fair POSITIONS and into the events Berlin Art Week and Gallery Weekend.
The jury has decided which designers will be present from September 10 to 13
The jury, consisting of well-known Berlin personalities such as Heinrich Carstens (Director POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair & paper positions, Berlin), Tanja Mühlhans (Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses, Berlin), Annette Kicken (gallery owner, Berlin), Andreas Murkudis (curator and founder of the concept store of the same name, Berlin) and many more validates the best 20 Berlin fashion labels. The decisive criterion for the jury was a recognizable aesthetic signature.
Selected and curated key pieces
The winners will have the opportunity to present selected and curated key pieces of their collections at the FASHION POSITIONS in September 2020. For the fashion labels, this also means to present their collections to an international audience with an affinity for art, design and style at the FASHION POSITIONS, to attract new buyers and to achieve a high media impact.
