FASHION POSITIONS: The Slot Winners have been decided

For the first time, the art fair POSITIONS will open its doors for the new event format FASHION POSITIONS from September 10 to 13. These 20 designers will be present:

For many years now, the Senate Department for Economy, Energy and Companies/Project Future has been supporting young fashion designers to present their collections. This year, Berlin-based fashion designers have the opportunity to present their collections at the exhibition FASHION POSITIONS, which is integrated for the first time into the art fair POSITIONS and into the events Berlin Art Week and Gallery Weekend.

The jury has decided which designers will be present from September 10 to 13

The jury, consisting of well-known Berlin personalities such as Heinrich Carstens (Director POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair & paper positions, Berlin), Tanja Mühlhans (Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses, Berlin), Annette Kicken (gallery owner, Berlin), Andreas Murkudis (curator and founder of the concept store of the same name, Berlin) and many more validates the best 20 Berlin fashion labels. The decisive criterion for the jury was a recognizable aesthetic signature.

Selected and curated key pieces

The winners will have the opportunity to present selected and curated key pieces of their collections at the FASHION POSITIONS in September 2020. For the fashion labels, this also means to present their collections to an international audience with an affinity for art, design and style at the FASHION POSITIONS, to attract new buyers and to achieve a high media impact.

The art fair POSITIONS, located at the former Tempelhof Airport with its 70 galleries and approx. 20,000 visitors, offers the setting for a meeting of art and fashion. Since its premiere in spring 2019, the FASHION POSITIONS is organized by POSITIONS GmbH and the board of directors of the Berlin Fashion Designers Association.

The FASHION POSITIONS will take place from September 10 to 13, 2020 at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.
