BERLIN, BERLIN
Still a digital-first format at heart, BERLIN, BERLIN will expand to physical experiences and exclusive collection releases to form multiple touchpoints between the global Highsnobiety community and one of the world’s most vibrant and creative cities.
BERLIN, BERLIN is a pillar of Berlin Fashion Week showcasing art, fashion, music, and design from the local creative scene. The showcase provides an opportunity for contributors and creatives to express themselves in a variety of formats, including AR exhibitions, unexpected collaborations, clothing capsules, and more.
“Berlin - next to key cities like New York and others - has been a longtime home for us. Putting a spotlight on Berlin's creative energy has always been on top of our global team's mind. BERLIN, BERLIN is our platform to feature the top talent which has surrounded us for a very long time,” said Hendrik Juergens, Highsnobiety’s Director of Collaborations and Special Projects.
“We're grateful for the close partnership with the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, which led to the initiation of BERLIN, BERLIN during one of the heights of the pandemic in January 2021. This time, with Berlin Fashion Week having moved right next to Art Week, our program will continue to showcase locally rooted, globally relevant players from a variety of disciplines, and expand to exclusive product drops, physical experiences, as well as a design prize given out to some of Berlin's creative community," Juergens said.
