In addition to the curated presentation, DER BERLINER SALON is expanding to include digital conversation formats

As one of the most important industry events, DER BERLINER SALON returns to Berlin Fashion Week in January 2021. In the renowned group exhibition of over 35 German design labels from the disciplines of fashion, jewellery and accessories, current designs will be shown in a contemporary staging on 18 January at Kraftwerk Berlin. In addition to the curated presentation, the supporting program of the BERLINER SALON will expand to include digital discussion formats on current events in the fashion industry with designers, German fashion experts and local creative talents. The group exhibition, the BERLINER SALON TALKS and the DESIGNER DIALOGUES, supported by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Industry, will be broadcasted via the official livestream of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on January 18th.

"The BERLINER SALON group exhibition promises a creative and forward-looking look at German fashion labels and creative talent. With over 35 design labels participating, this sends a signal for the strength of German fashion and Berlin as a creative metropolis. I am particularly pleased about the new discussion formats, which provide an additional valuable insight into the fashion industry." – Ramona Pop, Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Enterprises Berlin

With the idea of sustainably promoting design in the national as well as international consciousness, the presentation of the labels is also initiated this season by Christiane Arp and Nowadays Managing Director Marcus Kurz.
