Neo.Fashion Awards: Here are the winners!
This season, NEO.Fashion. cooperated with Ukrainian Fashion Week and offered a platform for Ukrainian designers in its program. Under the heading "Fashion for Future", the best fashion students from the National University of Technology and Design Kiev were presented in a digital graduate show. Afterwards, the best aspiring designers of the Ukrainian Fashion Week presented their collections in a runway show with the project "LOOK into the future! In the "Collective Fashion Shows 1 & 2", the collections of the "Aspiring Designers", which could also be seen in the "Aspiring Designers Showroom", were also brought onto the catwalk.
In the evening, the top young talents were awarded: First, the SDBI's European Fashion Award FASH was presented. The established award for fashion schools throughout Europe is also supported by a special prize from the SOEX Group.
This was followed by the presentation of the NEO.Fashion. Award to the graduates of German fashion schools. In a speech, the Berlin Senator for Economy, Energy and Operations Michael Biel emphasized the importance of young talents and their promotion. After the runway show, the jury awarded the prizes in the categories Best Design, Best Innovation and Best Sustainability Concept. In total, Neo.Fashion featured 15 shows over three days with over 900 looks. In addition to eleven participating universities, there was one showcase with designers from Ukraine and one with designers from Adis Abeba / Ethiopia. In addition, there were two joint shows by the Aspiring Designers, who also presented themselves in the Neo.Fashion showroom and were able to establish contacts with the visitors.
