Berlin, 12.06.2025 - Die nächste Berlin Fashion Week findet von Montag, den 30. Juni bis Donnerstag, den 3. Juli 2025 statt. Sie folgt damit direkt auf die Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
36 show formats, new talents, amazing locations: Berlin Fashion Week will once again showcase the creative diversity of Berlin: Among the talents are the 19 winners of the Berlin Contemporary concept competition, which was opened up to international labels for the first time.
Impressive locations such as KitKat Club, the CANK in Neukölln, Museum für Fotografie, Palais am Funkturm, Kindl Brewery, Alte Münze and Kranzler Eck serve as stages for shows and presentations.
The professional audience and international guests can expect a diverse programme of fashion shows, presentations and events. The winners of the concept competition, which was financed by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises as part of the Project Future state initiative (co-funded by the EFRE fund) and organised by Fashion Council Germany, include Andrej Gronau, Balletshofer, BUZIGAHILL, COLRS, David Koma, Gerrit Jacob, GmbH, Haderlump, ioannes, Kitschy Couture, Laura Gerte, LUEDER, MARKE, Milk of Lime, Orange Culture, PALMWINE IceCREAM, Richert Beil, SF1OG and Sia Arnika.
Berlin Fashion Week will open with the format DER BERLINER SALON on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2 pm. By choosing the Museum für Fotografie as its venue, DER BERLINER SALON continues the tradition of presenting German fashion and design within a significant cultural context. The Museum für Fotografie is home to the Helmut Newton Foundation and the Art Library, which host large exhibitions. This provides a platform for contemporary design and aims to establish new perspectives for design promotion in Germany through dialogue with art and cultural historical institutions. The group exhibition will be open to the public from July 1 to 6, 2025.
On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, INTERVENTION by Reference Studios will take place at the Palais am Funkturm with the following shows: LUEDER (1:00 pm), David Koma (4:00 pm), GmbH (7:00 pm) and Ottolinger (9:00 pm). After the Ottolinger show, there will be a music performance at the location. Over the four days, Reference Studios, together with Mowalola, will host a pop-up store that kicks off with an opening reception on Monday.
The NEWEST format of the agency NOWADAYS starts on Tuesday at FÜRST on Kurfürstendamm with Milk of Lime (10:00 am), MARKE (4:00 pm), BUZIGHAHILL (8:00 pm). On Wednesday SF1OG presents its collection (8:00 pm). COLRS (10:00 am) and Orange Culture (2:00 pm) complete the NEWEST format on Thursday.
In addition, many other labels are represented in the official show schedule - including Anja Gockel, #Damur, Marc Cain, Rebekka Ruétz, Tell the Truth and VIKTORANISIMOV. Furthermore, Danny Reinke, Kilian Kerner and Marcel Ostertag bring their joint format COLLECTIVEFOUR to the renowned venue UBER Arena.
This season, the official BFW Opening Dinner will take place at Grill Royal. Decision-makers from politics, fashion, media, as well as broader culture and creative industries will come together on the first evening of Berlin Fashion Week to honour the designers of the season.
Temporary locations and creative formats throughout the whole city create a fashion week flair. William Fan invites his guests to Chateau Royal, Maximilian Gedra opens his studio, PLATTE presents Clara Colette Miramon, Impari shows the exhibition NKYIN ≠ KYIM. Berlin Curated from the network 0049x presents newcomer designers from all over Germany. Additional side events include Nowrubi Confidential, the Human Touch Exhibition, sample 030, the netzwerk show, Neo.Fashion. with several events like its Graduate shows, a Networking breakfast, an award ceremony and panel talks as well as the Best Graduates Show of the Lette Verein. Gerrit Jacob invites to a film screening, Esther Perbandt shows her collection in an intimate atmosphere in Charlottenburg, Lascana celebrates a Summer Club 2025. The 032c SS26 collection showroom invites press, buyers and opinion leader to the re-see of the collection that was presented during Paris Fashion Week. DOPPELREIHER from Christiane Arp (CEO, Fashion Council Germany), Wiebke Bredehorst (stylist and fashion director TUSH) and Josepha Rodríguez (stylist) opens its first pop-up store during Berlin Fashion Week. Here you will find carefully curated second-hand and vintage designer pieces at affordable prices.
For the third time, the talk series 'METAMORPHOSIS - dialogues about change' - powered by eBay, initiated by Fashion Council Germany, takes place during Berlin Fashion Week. Registration is possible here. A new presentation format is launched with RAUM.Berlin: selected labels present their latest collections for three days, supplemented by curated eBay pre-loved looks, styled by Christian Stemmler. At Kranzler Eck, where both events take place, five South African designers will also exhibit their collections: Afrigarde, Connade, Floyd Avenue, Neimil and Refuse Clothing.
The Studio2Retail initiative includes events from the concept competition winners APOC x Madomorpho, Effenberger Couture, Lou de Bètoly, Selva Huygens, Sezgin and Vladimir Karaleev. Consumers can stay up to date when visiting the Studio2Retail website.
Various networking events will also take place as part of Berlin Fashion Week, such as a dinner for invited guests by 032c on Tuesday evening, and the "Future Fashion Concept", an educational initiative by Felder Felder in cooperation with the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network. A brunch with 50 invited guests provides insights into the work of the initiative and encourages exchange between design students and innovators.
Beyond the shows, Berlin also demonstrates why the city is a magnet for the international fashion and creative scene. The parties are an integral part of BFW, providing a meeting point for designers, brands and the industry. The deadHYPE x GUESS JEANS Opening Party kicks off on Monday. On Thursday, the Tush Magazine x Mugler Party will take place, as will the official Closing Party at AYOKA, in collaboration with Berliner Sparkasse and 10MAGAZINE.
