Press Release

More space for new perspectives, greater visibility for emerging talent, and a format that doesn’t just showcase fashion but brings it to life: From July 2–5, 2026, RAUM.Berlin will once again take place as part of Berlin Fashion Week and continue to grow. Following two successful editions, the event series initiated by the Fashion Council Germany is entering its third season, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
The winners of the third edition have now been announced: 16 labels will present their new collections from July 2 to 5, 2026, at the John Jahr Haus at Kurfürstenstraße 72–74, right in the heart of Berlin. The Fashion Council Germany and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy have jointly announced the lineup: The designers behind the labels were selected ANNE BERNECKER, ELODIE CARSTENSEN, Inlé Studio, krobos, Laura de Sousa, lealabob, Lennart Bohle, Natascha von Hirschhausen, NAOMI TARAZI, PALMWINE IceCREAM, PANOS GOTSIS, PLNGNS, SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE, Sofia Hermens Fernandez, TATi und VLADIMIR KARALEEV.
Fashion as an interactive exhibition
What sets RAUM.Berlin apart from traditional fashion shows is the concept behind it: the format views fashion not as a performance for an invited audience of industry professionals, but as an interactive exhibition experience. Each day of the event, four labels showcase their new collections within a clearly defined spatial and temporal framework—in a very tangible, accessible, and intimate setting.
The new venue underscores this vision: The John Jahr Haus, which has just opened, provides the format with a fresh stage in a prominent Berlin location.
Federal Ministry Reaffirms Its Commitment
This marks the third round of support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. “Creativity met entrepreneurial spirit. Progressive design met economic potential. German fashion design can make a strong impression on the international stage,” said Gitta Connemann, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Ministry. RAUM.Berlin was specifically deployed to strengthen young talent and Germany’s position as a hub for the fashion industry.
The RAUM.Berlin Jury
An independent panel of experts selected the participants: Christiane Arp (Fashion Council Germany), Melanie Bauer (Melangance), Johanna Dramé (Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises), Herbert Hofmann (Highsnobiety), Scott Lipinski (Fashion Council Germany), and Kerstin Wenig (Vogue Germany).
The selection clearly illustrates what RAUM.Berlin stands for: a dynamic panorama of contemporary fashion from Germany. It bridges the gap between craftsmanship and experimentation, wearable vision and artistic expression, support for emerging talent and international relevance.
