Fashion Positions: Connection between Fashion Week, Art Week and Art Autumn in Berlin.
The aim is to show the value of sustainable fashion in the age of "fast fashion" and to further develop Berlin as an important location for independent fashion designers.

Berlin, September 2021-The Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Labor is making the innovative cross-genre event format possible for the second time after its first edition in 2020. It offers Berlin designers*, selected by a jury, a platform to stage the aesthetic signature of their labels in the context of and in exchange with art at the interface between art and fashion. Thus, FASHION POSITIONS will take place in Berlin for the third time.
"The selected fashion labels and designers* reflect the entire range and diversity of Berlin's fashion and design landscape. I am very much looking forward to the staging of the collections and hope that the visitors* to the art fair will discover their passion for collecting fashion," says Ramona Pop (Mayor and Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Industry).
Under the motto' "Collect Fashion, Wear Art", the curated fashion and art fair "FASHION POSITIONS" will take place from September 09 to 12, 2021 as part of the "POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair" at Tempelhof Airport, Hangars 5 & 6. It is thus also the temporal link between Berlin Fashion Week and Berlin Art Week and overture to the Berlin Art Autumn. The aim is to demonstrate the value of sustainable fashion in the age of "fast fashion" and to further develop Berlin as an important location for independent fashion designers. A proven hygiene concept as well as the spacious hangars 5 & 6 of Tempelhof Airport with the open space in front and the airfield offer a unique and airy backdrop for the fashion and art presentation while guaranteeing security and a relaxed atmosphere.
