Call for Application: Berlin Showroom AW 21/22
Until December 29th, designers and labels from Berlin can apply for the Berlin Showroom in Paris where they’ll present their AW 2021/22 collections to buyers and the public at the Paris Fashion Week. The participants will be announced at the beginning of August. The jury selects according to the following criteria:
Fashion label (womenswear or accessories) should be located in Berlin / Brandenburg
Unique characteristics of the fashion label
Production capacity of the fashion label
Quality and marketability of the collections
Mix of more established Berlin fashion labels and upcoming labels
Labels from Berlin which meet the specific requirements can apply via the online application form.
Berlin Showroom as a part of the DACH showroom
As in previous years, the Berlin Showroom will again take place in Paris in 2021 together with Mode Suisse (Switzerland) and the Austrian Fashion Association (Austria) as a joint DACH showroom.
New concept secures international order business
Due to the challenging circumstances prevailing at the moment, the Berlin Showroom is coming up with a completely new concept:
In addition to the new online showroom, where the new collections will be presented from January, it will also be possible to present in five different cities. The aim is to meet local buyers who will most likely not be able to travel in the coming AW 21/22 season. Last season, the Austrian Fashion Association had a quite successful showroom in Vienna, where it encountered much more openness from local buyers than before due to the current situation. Based on this positive experience, smaller, decentralised showrooms will be offered in the following five cities this season. All dates to be confirmed.
- Berlin - second week of February
- Vienna - 23rd - 25th February
- Paris - 05th - 08th March
- Zurich - 15th March
- Tokyo - 21st - 28th March
