Berlin designers nominiated for International Woolmark Prize

Bobby Kolade and IVANMAN are nominated for the International Woolmark Prize.

Berliner Designer Bobby Kolade and IVANMan are nominated for the International Woolmark Prize 2015/2016.

With the International Woolmark Prize the Wollmark Company honor exceptional young design talents. The nominees for the International Woolmark Prize are announced:

From Germany the two designer from Berlin, Bobby Kolade an Ivan Mandzukic with his brand IVANMAN are nominated for the Wollmark Prize 2015/2016. Bobby Kolade is nominated in the category womenswear and IVANMAN in the category menswear.

The six Menswear finalists will show their collection at PITTI UOMO in Florence in January 2016, the finalist of the category womenswera will show in New York in February 2016.

The winners will get AUD $100,000 to create their new collection and to some Marketing for it.  In addition their collection will be market at retailers like Harvey Nichols from Great Britain, Joyce from China, Saks 5th Avenue from the USA, 10 Corso Como from Italy, My Theresa online, and David Jones from Australia.

The regional european competition will take place in Antwerp on the 13th July. The designers have to present sketches of six designs and one should have be made. A Jury will choose the best sketches and design and will announce the finalists.
