Horror Vacui

Anna Heinrichs presented a true homage to artistic craftsmanship and playful elegance with the new collection of her brand Horror Vacui. Colorful floral patterns merged with quilted jackets with sophisticated scalloped edges that gave the looks a nostalgic sophistication. The collection proved that comfort and elegance can go hand in hand perfectly - a sense of comfort conveyed by casual, soft skirts and quilted coats draped over the shoulders.

Danny Reinke

Danny Reinke also presented his collection in the Uber Eats Music Hall. With "90 Seconds to Midnight" he interprets the dark, bizarre world of Heinrich Hoffmann's Struwwelpeter with the metaphor of the Doomsday Clock, which is currently only 90 seconds to midnight: a symbol of the probability of a man-made global catastrophe.

The Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder invited to the show of her label at the Hotel Oderberger. The designer celebrated the label's 10th anniversary with almost 700 guests with 35 unique looks under the motto "Birthday Party" with balloons, flowers, cakes and streamers.

On the afternoon of the first day of BFW, Sia Arnika presented her AW25 collection "Harbor Bitch" - a contemporary staging of her memories of the charming, mysterious dock workers of her homeland, the Danish island of Mors. Inspired by a seductive rebellion, 'Harbor Bitch' blended edgy silhouettes, textured knitwear and reimagined jersey designs. Using expressive textures and reimagined Danish clogs, Sia Arnika created a female empowerment collection that embodied raw energy and untamed elegance.

BERLIN CONTEMPORARY SHOWROOM

From Saturday to Monday, the Berlin Contemporary Showroom at the Hotel Château Royal opens its doors from 10 am to 6 pm. There, some of the Berlin Contemporary winners will present their collections for press, stylists and buyers, offering a unique opportunity to experience the creativity and craftsmanship behind the new collections up close. The kick-off on Saturday will be HORROR VACUI, Laura Gerte, PALMWINE IceCREAM and Sia Arnika. On Sunday, the presentation of COLRS, MARKE, Richert Beil, SF1OG and SVEASØN will follow. On the third and last day, Avenir, Clara Colette Miramon, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, LUEDER and PLNGNS will conclude.
