Runway Collections 8th of Juni 2016 Berlin Fashion Week - Day 1
Avelon
The spring/summer 2017 Fashion Week was this season opened in Wedding's Erika Hess Stadium by Danish luxury brand AVELON. Designer Erik Frenken presented his Resort 17 collection, which has been extended with exclusive looks only for the Berlin Fashion Show. Craftsmanship and details are the topic of the collection "Freezing Time". Frenken wants to think back on the ancient art of making his own clothes by hand what was the daily life. Essentially is the Victorian era , which fits perfectly to current trends, such as maxi-long pants, ruffles and pleated or wrap dresses and coats. In addition to red a lot of grey was used to create an effortless pajama look.
IVANMAN
As in the movie "Bagdad Cafe" from 1987, which inspired the designer Ivan Mandzukic for his label IVANMAN, the new Spring / Summer 2017 collection combined traditions and modern life specifically to each other. Following the wild and wrong-headed world his color combinations of pink and turquoise, various forms and manifestations have arisen. Classic Menswear forms are as ever the center of the designs at IVANMAN and is supplemented by new structures in the material or knitting. Mandzukic is always playing with colors and cuts. He thinks that all a man need is to look good dressed in all combinations, whether narrow or wide suit pants combined with short-sleeved knit or jersey shirts with a wide coat or wider blouson jacket - everything has to look perfect together.
Dawid Tomaszewski
The fashion designer with Polish origin has become a part of the inventory of Fashion Week in Berlin. Since last season he is supported as one of six designer by Swarovski, which is very noticeable in the collection for the summer 2017. With "Blushes" he old Dawid is back, which means it glitters and sparkles, the flowing, floor-length silk dresses, feather-skirts and -coats are again q part of the collection. The modern mood will be kept by Tomaszewski as well: a relaxed layerin and elements from the late eighties / nineties, such as button-through pants. The hair and make-up styling pays homage to Blondie, as you can clearly see by the "Blondie" -writing on the shirts .
MALAIKA RAISS
The Berlin designer remains constantly to its style: a mix of delicate romantic elements and cool wearable trends. Giant ruffles are also a trend topic at her collection, worn as a huge waist belts on dresses, coats and shirts. Fine spaghetti straps dresses contrast with very strong layering looks combined with wide trousers. The colors are more pastells plus a rich red as a contrast. MALAIKA RAISS fashion is unmistakable and even if it is trend-oriented, she manages to keep those trends in combination with her key pieces, like the slip- dress ,more than for just one season.
