Haus of Yoshi x Bom.B und Gear3 - Korean Design meets Berlin
Three talented young designers Haus of Yoshi, BOM.B and Gear3 were brought together because of the passion for Korean design to collectively present their upcoming collections at the Berlin Fashion Week in the ME Collectors Room. In a group show they show the anarchist romantic thought of Haus of Yoshi paired with the craftsmanship of Bom.B and the industrial practical style of Gear2. They are influenced by the spirit of the Ukrainian underground youth movement CXEMA and the industrial thought. The presentation is supported by the Berliner DJ Glos and his CXEMA sounds. Three labels bring their own street style aesthetics and the forward-thinking fashion to Berlin.
The designers of Haus of Yoshi, BOM.B and Gear3 were mainly influenced by various youth movements in South Korea. Yoshi from "Haus of Yoshi" studied Fine Arts and founded a company for photography and art in Seoul. In 2015 he launched House of Yoshi, a label that surprises. Lee Bo Hyung of "BOM.B" grew up in the artistic environment. By customizing his outfits from vintage pieces, he recognized his passion for fashion. At the age of 19, he began his fashion design studies and then sought five years for his unique style. Several awards worldwide are the proof for his creative style.
Three talents decided for Berlin as an international kick-off. For Yoshi it is no question, its DNA fits more to Europe than to Asia. In his opinion, Berlin is the perfect place to present young designers and to introduce them to important buyers, to be exact: "A place of great opportunities."
