Starting in 2023, the flagship events "Berlin Fashion Week" and "Premium Group Events" will be held simultaneously

The Premium fashion fair is back home: From July 7 to 9, 2022, Premium opened its doors to the fashion world with an evolved format of fashion, business, content and entertainment. The successful comeback is the occasion for the announcement of another innovation in Berlin's fashion calendar: starting in 2023, Berlin Fashion Week and Premium fashion fair will take place simultaneously. This means that in future the two leading events in the industry will bundle their specialist and consumer-focused formats in January and July respectively and will thus be able to make better use of synergies. Berlin's position as a meeting place for the fashion industry will thus be further strengthened.

Stephan Schwarz, Senator for Economics, Energy and Operations, explains: "I am very pleased that we have been able to celebrate the long-awaited reunion with Premium over the past few days. The trade fair is not only back in Berlin, but has also successfully developed its concept and will in future be held at the same time as Berlin Fashion Week. This merger is the right and consistent further development and a strong signal of departure for Berlin as a meeting place for the fashion industry. I hope it will have a magnetic effect on our metropolis and open up new perspectives for Berlin's fashion industry."
