Applications for Berlin Showroom Paris Women S/S 2018 are open!
German Design in Paris: Berlin Showroom 2018
– from 29. September until 03. Oktober 2017 –
Berlin Showroom is the destination in Paris to discover leading fashion design from Berlin. Berlin Showroom bi-annually presents the best of German fashion to international buyers and press providing a unique opportunity for groundbreaking and cutting-edge designers to promote themselves outside Berlin. Located in the very heart of Paris, Berlin Showroom showcases a carefully curated group of designers, ranging from emerging talents to Berlin’s New Establishment, all presenting their collections in a showroom environment during Paris Fashion Week.
Berlin Showroom was initiated by Projekt Zukunft/Berlin’s Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. It is largely financed by the programme “Opening up New Markets” and the EFRE fund. The joint presentation is realised by IDZ Designpartner Berlin GmbH in cooperation with Arne Eberle press+sales and the regional initiative Projekt Zukunft.

DESIGNER SHOWROOM APPLICATION & CRITERIA
- Applicants must be based in Berlin
- Applicants’ work must have commercial viability
- Applicants need to have manufacturing capability
- The collection should consist of womenswear or accessories
- Application Process
Phase 1
Designers will need to fill out the mandatory online application form (in German).
Applications are open for: Berlin Showroom Paris Women’s Sprinng/Summer 2018
Phase 2
After the deadline, all applications are going to be forwarded to a jury including German fashion experts such as key opinion formers, media, buyers and representatives who will vote on the final participants.
Phase 3
After reaching a final decision, all candidates will be notified by email whether the application has been chosen. The final participants will additionally receive a link via email to submit required material to be used for the Berlin Showroom website and the exhibitors’ catalogue.
