Der Berliner Salon Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

To mark its 10th anniversary, Der Berliner Salon is hosting an impressive exhibition at Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie, showcasing the diversity of the German design scene. The exhibition will feature works by more than 50 carefully selected designers, celebrated for their creativity, craftsmanship, and innovative approaches. The event aims to shine a spotlight on emerging talents – a mission that has been at the heart of The Berliner Salon since its inception.

The exhibition is curated by Christiane Arp, Chairwoman of the Fashion Council Germany, and Marcus Kurz, Managing Director of the creative agency Nowadays and founder of Der Berliner Salon. As a key highlight of Berlin Fashion Week, the exhibition underscores the importance of support programmes for young designers. This initiative is made possible through the ongoing support of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.

Premiere of the New Presentation Format: RAUM Berlin
A major highlight of this year’s edition is the introduction of the new format RAUM Berlin, debuting on 3 February 2025. This innovative format will focus on designers Anne Bernecker, Gerrit Jacob, and Namilia, each showcasing ten of their looks. Supported by the Fashion Council Germany, this format provides participants with a curated, more intimate platform to present their work and highlight their creative visions.
