Ottolinger

For their debut at Berlin Fashion Week, Ottolinger presented the Resort 2026 collection titled "Heidi"-based on the idea of being the cool big sister who breaks the rules so you don't have to. Opening the show was pop singer Kim Petras to the soundtrack of Lady Gaga's "Scheiße", as designers Cosima Gadient and Christa Bösch unveiled a range of bold, body-conscious silhouettes-in black or striking colors-alongside jersey pieces, printed mesh dresses and tops. Tailoring was deconstructed, reinterpreted, and layered, while a series of coated denim looks appeared as glossy as wax. Painted latex dresses and leggings completed the collection.

COLRS

COLRS opened the last day of Fashion Week with a collection inspired by the designer's memories of a trip to Brazil, focussing on upcycling and vintage elements. The title 'JUMPING FENCES' could be seen as a print on numerous T-shirts, which were combined with patch-embellished jeans or light cotton trousers. Shirts with the print 'I break into pools for fun' and beauty looks with sand on the models' skin told of summer adventures - carefree and full of energy.

Killian Kerner

On Wednesday evening, Kilian Kerner presented his new collection "DDR. The Stolen Children" as part of the COLLECTIVEFOUR format. The collection addresses a historical topic: forced adoptions and alleged infant deaths in the former East Germany (GDR) between the 1950s and 1980s. It reflects on the impact these events had on affected families and the limited progress made in confronting this chapter of history.

Danny Reinke

Inspired by the legendary tapestries of the Maître de la Chasse à la Licorne from around 1500, designer Danny Reinke translates this myth into a collection full of contrasts, blending mythology with modernity. Under the fitting title "The Hunt", he turns the act of hunting into a symbol of freedom.

Vladimir Karaleev

After an eight-year pause, Vladimir Karaleev returns to Berlin Fashion Week-deliberately choosing an intimate setting. On Wednesday, with support from the Fashion Council Germany, the designer presented his capsule collection "Dis/Play" as a pop-up at the NBB Gallery. Rather than a traditional runway show, the format created space for textile experimentation and conceptual depth. The capsule functions as a "swatch book," in which Karaleev redefines form, function, and wearability.

Berlin Curated

Berlin Curated offers a platform for Germany's most promising emerging fashion talents, sending a strong signal for the support of young designers. The initiative gives 16 soon-to-graduate students space for visibility, exchange, and long-term support. Under the direction of Christiane Arp and Sevil Uguz, a new chapter in the German fashion industry is taking shape-one that systematically strengthens the connection between creativity, networking, and future opportunities.
