A Table for Change: Closing Dinner of ‘METAMORPHOSIS’ at Crackers

Conversations need space: As part of the talk series ‘METAMORPHOSIS – dialogues about change’ powered by eBay at Berlin Fashion Week, a closing dinner was held on the last evening. Crackers provided this space: a curated evening that combined profound exchange, good food and a special guest list.
The focus was not on the hustle and bustle of fashion, but on dialogue. International guests from the media, retail, forecasting and creative industries came together in an intimate setting – including Kristian Schuller, Jody Arthur Vaesen, Ashley Krupnik (WGSN), Maliha Shoaib (Vogue Business) and Mandy Krüger, Head of Fashion at eBay Germany. They were all part of the talk series, which deliberately focuses on the intersections of fashion, innovation and social change.
The dinner provided the perfect setting to continue these conversations. In a relaxed setting with good food and an informal atmosphere, contacts were made, topics explored in depth and perspectives shared – beyond PR rhetoric or rigid agendas.
Crackers is no longer an insider tip when it comes to culinary accompaniment during Berlin Fashion Week. For years, the renowned restaurant has been an integral part of the programme – not only because of its extraordinary ambience, but also because of the consistently high quality of its cuisine.
The carefully composed menu for the evening reflected the curated nature of the event and offered guests not only culinary delights but also topics of conversation. The food itself thus became the connecting element between the different perspectives.
The content-rich week surrounding Berlin Fashion Week ended with an intimate dinner at Crackers. The focus was less on the event itself and more on the encounters and the atmosphere. The discussions highlighted how diverse and relevant the topics surrounding the circular economy, technology, consumer behaviour and creative responsibility are today.
A big thank you to the team at Crackers, who, as always, spoiled us with first-class service.
